The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid- 2 Minute Review.

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Review

What is it?

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid is a no-frills hydrating serum. Priced at £5.99 for a 30ml bottle. Grab yours via the link below.

About the brand.

Similar to The Ordinary, The Inkey List is all about simplifying skincare and saying it how it is. A brand after my own heart!

Providing us the consumer, with good quality skincare ingredients at affordable prices.

Whilst the brand’s ethos is almost identical to that of The Ordinary’s. The products themselves differ. With different textures, formulas, and consistencies.

In addition, the brand prides itself on being customer-focused. When they launched in 2018, they did so with the hope of helping to eradicate all the confusion around skincare. Thank god because skincare is so bl*ody confusing.

What does the brand have to say?

“Hyaluronic acid is a powerful moisture-binding ingredient that works beneath the skin surface and that can hold up to 1000X its weight in water.”

“Naturally found in the skin to maintain hydration, Hyaluronic Acid levels gradually reduce over time which can result in dullness, fine lines, and uneven tone and texture.”

“Ensuring skin is hydrated is essential for healthy-looking skin making Hyaluronic Acid a must-have.”

“Hyaluronic Acid works as a magnet for moisture, helping your cells retain as much of it as possible so that your skin feels and appears hydrated, plump, and healthy.”

What do you need to know?

  • What is it used for: A hydrating serum to be applied immediately after cleansing and before moisturiser.
  • Consistency and Texture: Super lightweight, none sticky, glides over the skin like a dream. It does not leave a sticky film or any residue once it has dried down.
  • Does it play nice with other products: Absolutely.
  • Smelly?: Nope. Doesn’t really smell of anything.
  • Non-Comedogenic?: Correct. This serum will not clog your pores.
  • Likely to irritate?: Absolutely not.

Who is it for?

  • Suitable for all skin types.
  • For anyone who is looking for a good dose of hydration.

Is there a cheaper alternative?

No-way-ho-say!

Is it worth the money?

It is worth every single penny and I implore you to go purchase immediately.

What do we think?

Hyaluronic acid is a hero ingredient that can be found in almost everyone’s bathroom cabinet.

Hyaluronic acid = Hydrated skin and, plump, dewy complexions. What more does a girl want?

I have used hyaluronic serums that cost up to £100 English pounds, and I found that they did not perform any better than this beauty from the Inkey list.

In fact, I would go as far as saying, I actually prefer this one.

I love the consistency, the fact I am not left with any residue or film on my face, and the way it hydrates without causing any irritation to my sensitive skin is the cherry on top.

Top Tip.

After cleansing your skin, apply your hyaluronic serum to the skin whilst it is still damp. This will sandwich all that additional moisture and seriously hydrate your complexion.
