Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Mist – 2 Minute Review

Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Mist

What is it?

The Molecular Saviour Probiotics Repair Mist is a facial mist on steroids. Claiming to hydrate and re-energize skin on a cellular level. I am sure you are used to seeing Rosewater or Aloe facial mists that work great for keeping our skin hydrated throughout the day. This is not one of those mists. This mist is practically an all in one skincare routine in a convenient spray bottle. Priced at £57.00 for 60ml, you can grab yours via the link below.

About the brand.

“Allies keep their promises”

It was the story behind the brand that caught my attention.

With a back-to-basics attitude, the brand was created by Nicolas Travis, who suffering with his own problematic skin, found it extremely difficult to desipher all the jargon within the skincare industry.

Therefore, Nicolas decided to create his own simple line of products that would suit all skin types and break through the ‘noise’ surrounding the beauty industry.

I may have mentioned the words basic and simple to describe this brand however the products are anything but basic.

What does the brand have to say?

“A godsend for thirsty skin, the Molecular Saviour™ Probiotics Repair Mist (pH 3.5-4.3) is composed of an alcohol-free aloe and rosewater base and a reparative blend of Probiotics and 6 Antioxidants like Lactobacillus Ferment, Niacinamide, and Acai Berry that leave your complexion glowing and dewy.”

“The ideal travel companion, our mist is supercharged with a special anti-evaporation molecule so that it clings to skin cells instead of simply vanishing. Every spritz delivers a potent dose of soothing actives and restorative nutrients like Colloidal Silver, Silk Amino Acids, and Ergothioneine that work throughout the day to refine pores and counteract the effects of jetlag and fatigue.”

“Clinically proven to reduce acne lesions by 42.7% in 28 days.”

What do you need to know?

  • What is it used for: To be used directly after cleansing your face as you would a toner or essence.
  • Key ingredients: Colloidal Silver, Probiotics, Amino acids, and not one, but six antioxidants.
  • Consistency and Texture: super light water that packs a punch.
  • Does it play nice with other products: Perfectly. In fact, I find it enhances my other products.
  • Smelly?: Has a slight smell of nature that dissipates almost immediately.
  • Non-Comedogenic?: Yes.
  • Any Irritation?: Not a bean.
  • Packaging: Sleek and easy to use.

Who is it for?

  • Absolutely everyone will benefit from using this treatment/moisturiser, regardless of age or skin type.

Is there a cheaper alternative?

Again, this is Allies of Skin and therefore it is pricy. And yes there are cheaper facial mists on the market. However, none of the cheaper alternatives are worthy contenders. This mist is a hybrid. It does so much more than your usual mist. With an ingredients list that makes me swoon.

Is it worth the money?

Absolutely. All the money in the world!

What do we think?

Now as we have all discovered, I am quite literally head over heels in love with this brand (well head over slippers. Clearly I am not wearing heels right now!)

However, the Molecular mist was not something I initially got excited about. It’s just a facial mist, right? I already have at least two of those on the go at the moment. I don’t need another one.

Yet, after using and absolutely loving some of the products from the brand, I did start to wonder. Everything that Allies of Skin produce seems to be on a whole other level. I am talking, instant and noticeable results.

In addition, I started to notice a lot of the people that I follow and trust raving about this mysterious mist.

Clearly, I took the plunge and ordered with high hopes and expectations.

It did not disappoint.

I have been using this mist for one week. Both morning and evening, directly after cleansing.

This is not your run of the mill mist that disappears almost immediately. This is hefty. It has more of an essence consistency falling somewhere between a regular toner and a serum.

It gives immediate results. A more even skin tone and a glow like no other. It is literally a glow in a bottle. I am sure with continued use I will enjoy even more benefits.

Needless to say, I have already ordered another so that I never have to be without it.

If Allies of Skin is a brand that you are considering, I would recommend the Molecular Saviour mist as a first purchase. However, beware! You will want the whole range once you start to use it!
