Nuface Mini – 2-minute review.

NuFace Mini Facial Toning Device Review

What is it?

The Nuface mini is a facial toning device that claims to give the user a facelift in just 5 minutes! (Erm, yes please). Priced at £135.98 (currently on offer) for the mini device and a 30ml tube of Hyaluronic gel to be applied during use. You can grab yours via the link below.

What does it do?

The Nuface Mini uses microcurrents to stimulate the facial muscles and tone which provides a temporary lifting effect to the face.

Remember those body sculpting belts you could get that you strapped around your stomach? They used the same technology to stimulate your stomach muscles.

The Nuface mini does the same thing, but on your face.

What does the brand have to say?

“All the benefits of a microcurrent treatment in a petite, portable, and powerful device. The Mini delivers unparalleled professional results and is easy to use in as little as 5 minutes per day. Shown to improve facial contour, facial tone, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”

“The Mini device stimulates the larger surface areas of your face and neck with gentle microcurrent, going beyond skin deep to improve facial contour, facial tone, and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”

“Use 5 minutes per day. For the first 60 days, use 5 days per week. After 60 days, use 2-3 days per week to maintain results. Use only with NuFACE Gel Primer.”

Who is it for?

  • Anyone who is starting to notice the effects of gravity taking its toll.
  • Anybody looking to improve facial contour and definition
  • Anyone who has been considering a facelift.

Is there a cheaper alternative?

Absolutely not! The next best thing would be an actual facelift and that is obviously way more expensive!

Is it worth the money?

Yes but only if you can be consistent. You have to use this every day for the first 60 days without fail.

What do we think?

I will be 40 in a couple of months which I am still coming to terms with, to be honest.

I expected the wrinkles that would start to appear, I was not surprised by the crepey skin around my eyes and I was aware that gravity would start to play havoc with my body.

However, I was not expecting the sudden drooping of the skin on my face. It seemed to come out of nowhere. The worse affected area being my eyes and jawline. I mean, jowls started to develop. Jowls??

Well I was absolutely not having that.

Apart from a facelift, the Nuface looked like the best option so I bit the bullet and ordered myself one. (On next day delivery obviously, because these jowls had to go!)

I am a few weeks in to using the Nuface device now. I use it every morning and evening after cleansing. It is quite the commitment to begin with however I am starting to get used to the extra time my routine now takes.

Firstly, you apply the gel included in a thick layer all over your face. Switch the device on (it has several different settings) and move across your face following the instructions included.

I didn’t feel a thing whilst using the Nuface, which was a welcome relief as I had made up all kinds of different scenarios in my head. To the point where I was expecting full-on electrocution.

After use there was a very noticeable difference to the definition of my jawline and cheekbones. Everything looked significantly more toned and taught.

The muscles in my face after use had a bit of an ache to them (like your muscles would if you had just completed a workout at the gym) this sensation took a bit of getting used to. However, The feeling did dissipate after around 30 minutes.

The Nuface Mini, is basically like taking your face to the gym. If you only do it once or twice a week you are not going to notice any significant improvements. If you only completed squats once a week you are not going to get buttocks of steel are you!?

Consistency is key.

If you feel you would benefit from more tone and definition then I would absolutely recommend this device. It works significantly better than I was expecting and has made a real difference to my facial contours.

You can also get the Nuface Trinity which is a slightly larger device and comes with several different attachments if you are feeling flushed. Priced at £267.00.

Top Tip.

You can also use aloe vera gel with the Nuface when you run out of the gel provided. It works out a lot cheaper going forward.
