My name is Natalie and I am 39 and 3/4. I have spent nearly 20 years studying skin types, skincare ingredients, and beauty products including skincare and makeup to provide a local skincare consultant service that is personalised to your individual needs.
I provide tailor-made skincare routines and product recommendations based on your own personal skin type and skin concerns. I also provide more targeted advice for anyone suffering from sensitive skin or Rosacea. In addition, I have a great amount of knowledge and resources for dealing with teenage, hormonal skin.
Why is a Tailored routine important?
How many of us have been influenced to spend our hard-earned cash on the latest beauty product? Either by a marketing campaign, an influencer, or your friendly beauty counter salesperson?
We have all done it. However, more often than not, the latest must-have skincare or makeup product just doesn’t work for us. This product then gets shoved to the back of our beauty cabinets never to be seen again and we wonder why it did not give us the glowy skin that was promised?
A skincare product will only work for us if it is suitable for our own personal skin type. In addition, it needs to contain specific ingredients to Target our skin concerns.
Similarly, a makeup product also needs to be suitable for our own personal skin type in order for it to work for us.
After that, another factor we must consider is our age. The ingredients housed in our skincare products should be targeted to our age.
When we are younger we need formulations that focus on skin texture, hormonal breakouts or large pores.
However, the aging beauties of the world need formulations to help with fine lines, loss of elasticity, pigmentation or dullness.
If we are using products that are not right for our skin type and concerns it can make things even worse.
However, if we use products specifically suited it can have a hugely positive impact on our skin and our makeup application.
How can I help?
Here in the UK, dermatologists are not readily available and the few that we do have are extremely expensive. In addition, they often work with one specific skincare brand. Therefore only recommending products from that specific range which again, can be very expensive.
Finding a skincare routine that works for your skin should not be expensive. There are so many options today using good quality, active ingredients at a very reasonable price.
In addition, a skincare routine should not take up a lot of your time. We absolutely do not need to be applying 82 layers of skincare products to our face every morning and evening.
I do not work for one brand. I work across all brands, choosing the best-suited products from the best-suited brands. You will receive a personalised skincare routine based on the information you provide on your application form. This will also include product recommendations based on your own personal budget.
The cost for my service (see below) is the cheapest on the market. Not because I do not provide an excellent service, but because I want this service to be accessible to everyone.
With brands like The Ordinary and The Inkey List proving that you do not need to spend exorbitant amounts of money on active skincare ingredients. I am following their lead.
